Twenty years in finance — Senior Trader at ABN Amro, then CFO and Finance Manager at Dutch SMEs. Bart has done the manual bookkeeping, closed the books at midnight, and reconciled the bank by hand. He's also built the Power BI dashboards and Exact Online automations that made all of that disappear.
He scopes the projects, runs the client relationship, and owns the finance/reporting/ERP layer.
Architecture, engineering & AI
Fifteen years building production systems where bugs cost real money — real-time risk and P&L for derivatives desks at ABN Amro and Interactive Brokers, and since 2020 the lead engineer on Engie Italy's distributed infrastructure platform. His current work pushes into AI: invoice processing with RAG, real-time messaging bridges, and AI-agent orchestration.
He architects and builds the web apps, APIs, and AI integrations.
